Hakosuka

Hakosuka is the nickname of the C10 model skyline produced and sold during 1968~1972.

In that, the GT-R was made by installing a semi-racing engine of S20 type with a 2 litre series, 6 cylinder and DOHC24 valve.

At that time, it had the performance of breathtaking maximum power of 160ps, maximum speed of 200 km/h, and 0-400m in 16 seconds, and in the race, it achieved 50 victories in total, including 49 successive victories by March 1972

(The first GT-R Skyline was called as Hakosuka by fans. Hako means Box in Japanese, and suka is short for Skyline (Pronounced as Sukairain in Japanese).

It is a racing car shining with lot of glories like establishing the skyline legend. The GT-R, with the same engine as the Hakosuka that won successive victories, can be driven in the ordinary road run at the racing car level, and that is a popular thing that is indeed to be welcomed.

The sales price of Hakosuka GT-R at that time was 1.5 million yen, and at present the popularity is very high, so that it not unusual to price the good car for more than 10 million yen.

It is very popular in the events where the old cars are gathered, and that is not limited to Japan, and has a reputation of having fans all over the world.

At present, in the NISSAN GT-R sold by Nissan all over the world, the name GT-R came from the Hakosuka GT-R.

Especially, the engine sound of the S20 type engine in the Hakosuka GT-R is extremely wonderful.

Wooden Road Bike - M/s. Sano Magic

Continuing from the Edo period (1603-1868 CE) for 8 generations, the Sano shipyard started to make the bicycle made of the mahogany (Mahogany is a type of tropical hardwood, reddish-brown in color and widely used in furniture-making, boat building, and other high specification uses) for trial purposes from the autumn of 2007, using the technique of wooden ship construction.

It is aimed as a road bike that is lighter and faster than a metallic frame, using the SANOMAGIC shipbuilding technique of laminating the mahogany, and completed the first road bike in the spring of 2008.

The frame made from mahogany has hardness and flexibility as well. The beauty of the frame can be said as a work of art than anything else. The genuine workman spirit that does not compromise until the life time, is shudder strong, and can be deeply felt.
You can see the road bike made by SANO MAGIC below. And, this is one of the article that can prove the height of the Japanese woodworking skill.

Projection mapping

What is projection mapping?

Projection mapping is the creation and rendering of an image to an actual building with a projector.

While merging the image to a solid body, it is possible to produce a new space that starts to move.

Image and sound are composed and synchronized in the projected item, gives good rendering property, and makes an impact and in various activities like the business facilities, space production of event and commercial information etc.

Rather than “Viewing the screen” like the image work, it is the new content of “Producing the space”.

Check the following youtube videos, and you will be really amazed to see what the Projection mapping  technology can do in the field of business and entertainment.
