Japanese Sake

Sake is peculiar alcohol of Japan.
It is the alcohol made by the fermentation of Japanese rice, malt and water. It is very delicious, and can be taken at normal temperature, chilled or even warm.

Hence, it can be taken chilled during summer, warm in winter and at normal temperature in spring and autumn. The best part of Japanese sake is that, the same sake can be enjoyed by different drinking method based on season.

However, at present Japan is pushed to the beer, whisky etc., and the young Japanese are parting away from Japanese sake.

On the contrary, the consumption of Japanese sake has increased in the foreign countries like United States and France.

In 2007, the Japanese sake section was set up in the traditional “International wine contest” in UK, and is familiar as the “sake”.

Japanese sake is sold in the bin that is generally called “Shou bin”
1 Shou = 1.8 liters.
These are the different labels pasted in the bottle of each Japanese sake, and you can fully enjoy the taste of Japan.

I have selected and drunk the items with beautiful label pasted in the bottle in my younger age without knowing which of the Japanese sake is delicious.

It might be a cool hobby to collect the label of Japanese sake in foreign countries.

You can collect the cool labels and make it in frame, and it would be surely wonderful if you hang it in the living room.

Next week blog is about "Kitty chan"
