The Ooigawa Railways (Shizuoka Prefecture Shimada city) operating the steam locomotive, opened the trial-ride fair of the steam locomotive handling the “Steam locomotive Thomas”, a popular character of the story that personified the steam locomotive. The nursery school children invited for the event shouted out of joy “Just like Thomas”, and “Good-looking".

The steam locomotive is the 227th machine of the C11 model made in 1942.

Project start of actually operating full-scale model of Gundam

The project of actually operating the full-scale model of TV animation “Mobile soldier Gundam” has started.

The outline of the plan was announced on July 9, 2014 aiming at the operation during the summer of 2019 that will be the 40th Gundam broadcast anniversary.

In this project, the Gundam of 18 meters in height will be actually operated.
The professor of Waseda University takes charge of a technical supervision.
It is scheduled to widely invite the technical proposal such as physical and virtual reality from the end of July 2014.
The deadline for the technical proposal is aimed for February 2015, then the basic plan will be decided during the autumn of 2016 through the secondary proposal, and afterwards the production work will start.
At present the full-scale model is set up in Tokyo and the Odaiba district, but the place where actually operation will be held is yet to be decided.

The project team will be formed before this production, and the idea and plan will be collected widely from all over the world.
The production side will collect the intelligence all over the world, and challenge the ultimate dream!
It aims to operate the Gundam of 18 meters in height.

Nankai special express Rapit - "Neo-Zion" organization

Nankai Electric Railway has repainted the dark blue New Kansai International Airport access special express "Rapit" to red color, and the robot animated cartoon series "Mobile suit Gundam UC (unicorn)" appears.
