Civic type R concept appears at Good wood festival 2014!

It was announced that Civic type R concept will be taken to Good wood festival of speed 2014 to be held at United Kingdom in June.

The Good wood festival is an event that uses the vast site at the Good wood West Sussex of the Earl of march in United Kingdom.

The car that has received the invitation from the Earl of march only is permitted to drive in this event.
Every year the most famous and latest sports car all over the world are gathered, and a bustling of activity can be seen during the actual driving.

This is the event that I look forward to see the video uploaded to the YouTube every year, and the car event that I love most in the world.
No other event has so much cars are assembled at one place!

Civic type R concept made the initial debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

The next generation Civic type R schedule for sale in Europe in 2015 makes the initial debut at Goodwood festival of speed 2014 to be held on June 25~29 in United Kingdom.

Honda announced the concept model “Civic Type R concept” that offers a glimpse at the directionality of the design of “Civic Type R” for next generation Europe model at the Geneva Motor Show. 

The Civic TYPE R concept aims at “The best successor of Civic Type R”, and expresses the function to demonstrate the high driving performance like the racing car at each place in the exterior design.

The front bumper that improves down force and decreases the drag (air resistance), and the rear spoiler with built-in LED combinations lamp etc. are used.
These designs reflect the result of the development test at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.

Moreover, the design to strongly recollect the operating pleasure like the 20 inch wheel and front spoiler with red color hemming, large diameter brake calipers painted in red color is used everywhere.

The Civic Type R car for next generation Europe model is loaded with a “2.0L gasoline direct injection turbocharged engine” under development aiming at the maximum power of more than 280 HP  by the new generation power train technological group “EARTH DREAMS TECHNOLOGY”, and it combined the driving and fuel consumption at a high-dimension.
The sale in Europe is scheduled for 2015 as the model that combines the acceleration performance, handling, and fuel consumption performance at a higher dimension.

The Civic TYPE R concept is a concept model that offers a glimpse at the directionality of the design of “Civic TYPE R”, under development as a sports model to invent the driving happiness by the higher driving performance, based on “Civic (five doors)” for Europe. 

The Civic TYPE R car is installed with a “2.0L gasoline direct injection turbocharged engine” under development by the new generation power train technological group “EARTH DREAMS TECHNOLOGY”, and it combined the driving and fuel consumption at a high-dimension.
