Fall colors of Nison-in

As informed in the last year blog of "Kourankei"
I introduce the fall colors of the Nison-in Temple in Kyoto.

If you look inside from the entrance, you can see a clear and straight tunnel made of Japanese maple.

You will be excited by the scene to the extent of taking and breath and say "Wow! What a beauty"
Walking inside the grounds of the shrine, you will feel as if some magic was done with the Japanese maple. The grounds of the shrine will be engulfed with red and orange color during autumn, and overwhelm the viewer.

The fall colors change from Green Yellow Red Fallen leaves along with the dropping temperature, and hence you will have a quite different impression when you see the Nison-in temple this week and the next week.

You will be amused with a different scenery whenever you go. I think the transience of, being able to see only during the decided period, is itself the fascination of the fall colors.

The viewing of fall colors of Nison-in is from the October 1st week to December 2nd week.
Please visit Kyoto and Nison-in temple during autumn without fail.

Kourankei

Like anywhere else, there are four seasons in Japan.

If we classify it month wise then

December ~ March - Winter
April ~ June - Spring
July ~ September - Summer
October ~ November - Autumn

At present in Japan it is heading from autumn to winter.

The sightseeing of Japan in autumn is the fall colors. This blog, we will show you one of the famous places of fall colors. It is Kourankei in Aichi Prefecture.

In olden days, it started with the planning of Japanese maple tree by the chief priest of the temple.

Now lot of maple trees are lining along the river bank.

The autumn season is expected just before the can be falling of deciduous tree leaves.

On the weekend when the fall colors are at its peak, the traffic congestion in the road to Kourankei will be up to 30 km, and yet everyone would like to go there as they want to see the landscape.

In the night, the entire area is light up and we can feel a different taste/appearance than the daytime.

I think you can enjoy the fall colors of Japan in the image.

During the next year of this season, I will introduce the fall colors of Nisonin Temple in Kyoto. I am looking forward for this time during next year.
