Popular venues of cherry blossoms-1

In the last year blog, we had a blog post on “Introduction of Cherry blossoms” in full-bloom during the spring season, and this blog post will focus on the best time to see in each region.

Various places in Japan is said as the popular place of cherry blossom. These places are good sightseeing place for the beautiful cherry blossom, but it will be very crowded with sightseers during the season when it is in full bloom.

This year, I will introduce the cherry blossoms in Mount Yoshino in Nara Prefecture.

About 200 to 30,000 types of cherry blossoms have crowded the Mount Yoshino.

The fragile and cute mountain cherry blossom is fully overwhelmed in the entire mountain from the mountain ridge to the mountain ridge, and from the valley to the valley.

It is called as “Hitome Senbon” in Japanese language, and that means a place one can look over 1,000 cherry trees at a glance.

From the first 10 days of April to the end, the blooming moves from the lower mountain to the upper mountain in the order of Shitasenbon → Nakasenbon → Kamisenbon → Okusenbon, and it is the best time to enjoy.

The light up of the cherry blossoms in the evening is done according to the flowering of cherry blossoms, and you will be engulfed in a subtle and profound atmosphere that is very different from the regular daytime.

Porsche 962C

Porsche 962C is the machine for the endurance race in the 80's. This car decorated the victory stand in many races, and kept reigning as the king of the endurance race.

That Porsche 962 C is being driven in the public roads in Japan !

It was thought as a rumor, but was really achieved.

The 962C with low vehicle height and elegant body is driven in the normal rods where other cars are driven, and is used for going to convenience stores. Of course, the vehicle has a number plate

If it is driven to a family mart then we can say in a single word – crazy !
However, we respect it.

In Japan, Porsche 962C is the only endurance race car than can be legally driven in the public roads. Car weight is 850kg, and engine power is about 800ps.

Wadaiko - Tao

The "Drum art performance" is the Japanese entertainment group; using the traditional Japanese musical instrument, “Wadaiko”, written in previous blog, deeply questions the people's minds, and fascinates the entire world.

It is recorded that the number of audience is over 4 million in 400 cities and 17 countries in the world.

Tao was formed 17 years ago, and are making the performance mainly in the foreign countries. The group has high valuation in the foreign countries but the activity in Japan in less, and hence the popularity is not to that extent.

However, if you see the videos, I think that you understand that it is a first-class entertainment.

Wadaiko

Wadaiko is the Japanese name for both the act of drumming in a traditional Japanese style or the drums itself.

The Japanese style drum can be simple said as an instrument, in which a skin is stretched on the frame made of wood, and is hit with a stick to produce the sound.

 The drum is used in the ceremonies like the festivals, kabuki, function, shrines and temples etc.

It is a traditional Japanese musical instrument; the musical performance is made in a traditional Japanese way, and has an intense appeal. 

It is musical instruments with charm and fascination, to the extent it is showered with great acclamation even in the concerts in Europe.
