Nonkiya

Nonkiya is a shop located just a few minutes on foot from the modern station in Nagoya.

Here, the Miso Kushikatsu is the main item with reasonable price in any of the shop. Miso Kushikatsu is made with the grill chicken grilled in front of your eyes, Japanese hotchpotch (Called as “Oden” in Japanese language) using the red miso of Nagoya special product, and the Kushikatsu the pork wrapped in cloth are soaked in the soup of the Japanese hotchpotch.

The gap between the very old shop and modern building at Nagoya Station is very fresh, and this is the recommendation spot to experience the old drinking house in Japan near the Nagoya Station.
However, the courtesy of the shopkeeper is not good and blunt, the other shop employees are as usual and hence let us experience the very old shop of Nagoya happily and inexpensively without paying much attention to the shopkeeper.

In this shop, rather than eating by sitting in the narrow store, eating by standing before the counter is actually the special seat.

Here the grill stand of the grill chicken is in front of your eyes, and hence you can take and eat the grilled chicken at you will.

It is ok as the amount is calculated by counting the skewers that are eaten.
The Japanese hotchpotch is kept at the side in the Japanese hotchpotch stand, and let us take any of it in the plate and eat!

Such a negligence is the merits of this shop.

It is easy to find a modern, fashionable bar in Japan.
However, there are not many shops continuing from the good old days.

Kindly try the delicious alcohol in the good old shop near the town without fail.
If you drink beer then make it as ASAHI SUPER DRY.
Let us all have the most delicious beer in Japan!

I am staying in the outskirts of Nagoya and hence often go here.
I will write more information about Nagoya in future.

Tebasaki - Japanese food

There are delicious dishes in various places in Japan that can be only be tasted in that area.
One such dish is the Tebasaki.

Tebasaki is a Japanese word that literally means “Wing tips”

This is the specialty a local dish of NAGOYA.

The chicken is empty fried, basted, and finished by sprinkling with salt, pepper, white sesame etc.
Special features are the crispy food texture and effective spicy flavor, and it is the best dish to take with the beer.

I would like you to try by all means, as it is delicious and even better than the sausage of Germany.
There are many shops in originating place of NAGOYA, and there are few shops in other places as well where you can eat.

Cafe Mountain

Cafe Mountain is a shop in Nagoya.

However, it is not usual and has various meanings.
The point that is not usual are, the variety of menu is abnormally high, the quantity is randomly large, very fatty etc. but the best feature is the exhaustively strange menu.
It has already shown up several times on the television, and is nation-wide famous.

First, let us introduce the sweet items.
Sweet green tea Kokura spa

Originator of sweet spa.
Red bean jam and whipped cream topping in green noodle.
Menu representing the mountain

Sweet strawberry spa

Whipped cream and strawberry on the noodle. Sweet smell of drifting steam and strawberry.
The flavor is of course Strawberry.

Sweet banana spa

With only the whipped cream, banana, chocolate, and sugary smell on the top gives great impact.
Sweet kiwi spa

The toppings are edible cherry and pineapple in whipped cream that is the arrangement of the sweet series in addition to the Kiwi (naturally). The noodle is sweet, but it is balanced with the sour taste of Kiwi.

Sweet melon spa

Noodle mixed with the melon, and plenty of whipped cream.

There are many interesting menus other than these items.

Will the shop people worry if the customers come to the shop? Well if it is a holiday

It is a popular store with customers lining up even on a rainy day.

Please visit the shop if you come to Nagoya.
