The Ooigawa Railways (Shizuoka Prefecture Shimada city) operating the steam locomotive, opened the trial-ride fair of the steam locomotive handling the “Steam locomotive Thomas”, a popular character of the story that personified the steam locomotive. The nursery school children invited for the event shouted out of joy “Just like Thomas”, and “Good-looking".
The birthplace of the story and Britain is already running the real train just like the Thomas, and this steam locomotive is the first of its kind in Asia.
The steam locomotive is the 227th machine of the C11 model made in 1942. The face of Thomas of "Bright eyes" made with reinforced plastic was fixed in the head, and the body was painted blue.

The linear motor car traveling at a speed of 500 km/hour can be seen from the view deck on the test run day.

Nankai Electric Railway has repainted the dark blue New Kansai International Airport access special express "Rapit" to red color, and the robot animated cartoon series "Mobile suit Gundam UC (unicorn)" appears.
A special vehicle that was changed completely to "Neo-Zion" organization was opened to the public.
The train runs between Nanba station and Kansai airport for about ten round trips a day.
The Rapit has the nickname of “Iron man No.28” because of the strange design at the front of the train. The special train that was reborn as “Red comet” is provided with special seats of the Full Frontal-led organization Neo Zeon.

The Linear Chuo Shinkansen (Linear chuo bullet train) is scheduled to run between Nagoya and Tokyo in the year 2027.
On 17th Gifu Prefecture clarified the conception of making a steam locomotive (SL) for the tourists to connect with the Akechi rail road near to the linear intermediate station to be established at Nakatsugawa city. The steam locomotive will be operated from the Mino Sakamoto station that adjoins the linear station to the Ena station that is 5 km west on the JR Chuo Line. In addition, you can ride into Akechi railway at the Ena Station, and enjoy the steam locomotive travel of 25 km up to the last stop of Akechi station.
The steam locomotive is yet to start at the Akechi railway, but the residents along the railway-tracks have decided to start the fund raising activity aiming at operation. The vehicle is scheduled to use the C12 type preserved in the Gifu prefecture.
Gifu Prefecture will negotiate with Akechi railway and JR Tokai (Central Japan Railway Company) in the future. It will rely on the operation of the steam locomotive before the launching of Linear Chuo Shinkansen to promote tourism.
It is a nice idea to ride the state-of-the-art linear motor car (with
the maximum speed of 500 km/h) and the steam locomotive (with the
maximum speed of 100 km/h) manufactured 80 years before on the same day.

work it does like checking the track, electrical installation and
signal equipment, and from the yellow color of the train.
The condition of the railway track is detected using various sensors
kept below the floor level. The measured data is used for maintenance

At present, Japan is developing the
next generation high-speed railway called as "Linear bullet train". A superconducting maglev type linear motor car that can travel at the
maximum speed of 505 km/h is constructed, with the utmost possible
straight route, with the aim of high speed transit. The
earliest opening between Tokyo and Nagoya is aimed for the year 2027,
and it is expected to connect the 300km distance between Tokyo and
Nagoya in 40 minutes at maximum speed.

However, this train is different from other trains that promotes only
speed at present in Japan, the development of a train that creates an
extravagance and graceful travel is not much known.
I will introduce one of the state-of-the-art train.The extravagance
sleeper train "SEVEN STARS" was open to the public before the start of
operation on 14th October.
The train called as "Nanatsuboshi" is a deluxe sleeper train with diesel engine and 7 passenger coaches. The production cost was about 3 billion yen.
Wood is used in abundance inside the coach, and a sofa and piano are also provided.
The facilities that are provided inside each of the coaches will put the luxury hotel to shame. Please fully enjoy the relaxed and comfortable travel of Japan with SEVEN STARS by all means.
