JR West has presented the image of the new splendid sleeper train under development to the public.

These trains were developed by taking advantage of the most favorable reputation.
As of now, the seat winning rate in the reservation status of the 7-star train this autumn is said as 1 in 37. There are lot of people who would like to travel in the train but could not do it.
If this train starts operating, the boom of gorgeous train travel might have arrived to Japan by the synergy effect with the 7-star train.
The starting station of this train is Tokyo Station, and hence this train is more convenient for the overseas travelers than the 7-star train operating from Kyushu.

This train is novel design based on dark green that shines the green and the sea along the railway-track, and the concept is “A hotel that runs along the beautiful Japan".

It is said that JR west are studying for a lesser ticket price than then gorgeous sleeper train “7-Star in Kyushu” of the JR Kyushu, expecting the demand from the senior citizen everywhere.

The start of operation of the train is scheduled for spring 2017.
The train has 10 cars, with 6 cars allotted for the travelers with the capacity of 30 persons.

The lounge car and dining car are connected to enjoy the dining and drinking.
The driver seat is arranged at a higher location, and the feature is the provision of the view deck in open air.
A bathroom and a private balcony that are very unusual and rate in the world are introduced for the highest-class guest room.
