Nissan’s return to sports car race in United States

Nissan and Nissan Motor Sports International Ltd. (NISMO) announced the return to the sports car race activity in the United States on January 4 (Saturday).




The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing acts with Nissan as an official partner team.

The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing, achieved the successive championship at the American Le Mans series (ALMS), will participate in the Tudor United sports car championship that starts in 2014 with the car mounted with the Nissan engine.
Nissan had the sweeping conquest of sports car race of the United States from 1988 to 1991.

It has acquired the drivers title for 4 times, manufacturers title for 3 times, and has also recorded 33 race victories at IMSA.
 
The team participates in the Daytona 24 hours, and also participates in the Sebring 12 hours, and Petit Le Mans Series.
