TOYOTA FT-1

Toyota Motor made the debut of the “FT-1” concept car to the public at the Detroit Motor Show 14 opened in the United States on January 13.

This car is a concept car that presented the directionality of the sports car of Toyota in the future.

 

Sony Computer Entertainment sold the game software for “PlayStation3” on December 2013 in the market, and partly developed the collaboration project of “Gran Turismo 6”, and “Vision Gran Turismo”.

One of the highlights of “Gran Turismo 6” is the collaboration project of “Vision Gran Turismo”.

This is a dream collaboration project of designing the cars for the Gran Turismo by the worldwide automobile manufactures and brands.

Toyota not only created the car for the virtual world, but also produced the actual car FT-1, and made the debut at the Detroit Motor Show 14. The design in-charge of FT-1 was CALTY, the Toyota design department based at the California, United States. This is also a concept car to commemorate the 40th anniversary of establishment of CALTY.

The design is very emotional one. The details of the power train are yet to be revealed to the public, but it is a FR car with engine mounted on the front, and real wheel drive.

It is said to have the combination of the latest technology with a high efficiency engine. 

This is the car that to buy as the as the flagship model of the LEXUS brand by all means.
