Wet towel and tea

This is the service given immediately when we enter the restaurant serving the meals, dessert etc.
Wet towel and tea

The foreigners who first come to Japan, and first visit a shop in Japan would have experienced this.

After we drink up the cup of tea, the shop assistant comes immediately and pours the tea again in the cup.
You can have as many cups as you would like
It is said that they would be concerned that how the shop employee would bill for the number of tea consumed.
Have you ever heard such a talk among the foreigners.

The answer is you will not be billed for the number of cups of tea, and also the number of wet towels used.
There is no practice of ‘tip’ in Japan, and you can enjoy the delicious tea of Japan with relief.
This is a common in Japan, and for the foreigners it may be something novel.

Japan is a country of four seasons.
Hence, you will get warm tea during the cold winter, and ice cold tea during hot summer.
Warm tea during the cold winter

Ice cold tea during hot summer
The tea that is most suitable for the season will be served.

Naturally, you get the warm wet towel during cold winter, and ice cold wet towel during hot summer.

Please visit Japan and experience the hospitality of the Japanese.

Decorative phone

Decoden is the Japanese short form for decorative mobile phone. The mobile phone is decorated using the beads, light stone, coloring, engraving etc.

This is very popular among the homemakers, female office workers, and girls from the year 2004, to show that this is one kind of the phone in the world by decorating the phone by themselves.

From the year 2005, lot of shops started to do the decoration work in the phones.

The origin of decorative phone seems to have spread as an extension of the nail art shop, beadwork, and light stonework.

In Japan people dislike the damage to their mobile phones and hence use the cover.

The point is to enjoy by carrying this phone by doing the decoration in this cover and recomposing.

This is slightly an old phone and hence the decoration is done directly on the phone rather than in the cover. The method is same and you can see this in the below videos.

Which decorated phone you liked most?

Decoration truck – Art truck

The truck with the externals decorated by painting, and by using the decorative illumination devices like marker lamp, paper enclosed lantern, aero parts that are stainless steel made and chromium plated are called as the decoration truck or art truck.

The prototype of decoration truck are mainly the trucks employed in the transportation of the fishing industry and the marine products. The life is short because the body will rust due to the adverse effect of the salt damage and the snow-melting agent. It is assumed to have started from the usage of stainless steel sheet with the rivets to repair the damaged packing case.

The uniqueness of the stainless steel like the glossy finish and the texture made it as the basic material used as the ornament for the decoration truck.
The stainless plate was originally used as a processing for the repair and not for the decoration use.
Remodeling of the truck was made based on the request of the large transportation unit. The decoration was made not with the signboard of the shop or the enterprise but also reflected the hobby of the owner.

The focus given to the trucks remodeled with the purpose of decoration like paper-enclosed lantern, marker etc. was remarkable, and it was acknowledged as one genre of the custom truck.

During the high growth period of Japan, the truck driver had lot of monetary wealth, and they made lot of decorations.
Recently, these type of trucks could not be seen, but even now some of the lovers of decoration truck are making the decoration activity.

It is a very beautiful scene to see the decoration truck running in the expressway.

This is also one of the car cultures of Japan.

The most beautiful part of the decoration truck is during the night.

The interior of the truck is also decorated in artistic fashion.
