NISSAN GT-R

The price of Nissan GT-R NISMO at 600 HP is US$144000 (15 million yen) but the Porsche 911 turbo S at 560 HP is US$234500 (24.46 million yen), and the Ferrari 458 Speciale at 605 HP is US$315300 (32.9 million yen).

GT-R is very inexpensive car when you consider the specification. However, the support from the wealthy layer buying the car with the excess of US$96000 (10 million yen) is not so great.
I will explain the reason.

The GT-R is not sold much, though it boasts such a performance and the price is inexpensive.
When you see the number of vehicles sold, it is less than half of Ferrari. It loses to Porsche by as much as 50 times. For Porsche it has somehow limited the number of cars produced from the beginning, but losing to Ferrari is regrettable for the Japanese.

However, I wish Nissan to keep continuing the production of GT-R by all means.

I wish they make a full model change soon. It is almost 6 years from the launch of the present GT-R. Ferrari has made the full model change in 5 years, and Porsche did it in 6 years.

Nissan should not lose to others at this point. Continuance is power. I wish the President of Nissan Mr.Carlos Ghosn to come and bat for Japan.

[Conclusion]

I think that the problem of Nissan GT-R is that it is too cheap, and they have to keep an eye on that. The wealthy layer are pleased when the price is high. The reason is that they can feel proud with the high priced car.I wish that Nissan produces the next generation GT-R at US$19200 (20 million yen).
