Sanma set lunch - Japanese lunch

The afternoon lunch of most of the company employees’ are prepared by their wife.

Most of the Japanese people have the lunchbox made with loving care by one's wife (Called as “Aisai Bento” in Japanese language), or will take lunch at the restaurant.
The shops that are offering the lunch are giving out various lunch menus and are satisfying the customers, and there are some menus available that has not changed from the past, for a very long time.
Among those lunches, today I will introduce the Sanma set lunch in this blog, which is continuously loved by the Japanese people for a very very long time.

(Sanma is a fish called as Pike Mackerel or Pacific saury)
The Sanma fish (Pike mackerel) is a wonderful seasonal fish representing the taste of autumn, and used to celebrate autumn in Japan. It is inexpensive as lot of fish can be cached during this season, and a very delicious fish that is liked for a very long time.

The Sanma fish is very delicious during the period of autumn, but it was able to be supplied all year long with the help of the state-of-the-art refrigeration technology, in which Japan holds the top level.

The Sanma set lunch consists of one grilled Sanma fish (Pike mackerel), and various side dishes and accompaniment for rice dishes that are specific to that shop.

Even though it is the same Sanma set lunch, there are various flavors in each shop.

The Sanma that is cached in the autumn has a good spread of oil, it is very delicious, and I love the dish.
Kindly try the Sanmd set lunch (Pike mackerel) once, without fail.

Hereafter, I would like to introduce various foods that the Japanese people eat during their lunchtime.
